A NEW TWIST Since joining the VA

Burke (shown here in rare form) and George and I have been busy playing old tunes and writing a bunch of new songs. Hopefully we will be able to tweak the recordings and make them available soon. Some really good ones. Brother Kevin and his wife Pat were down recently and we have several hours of video from an afternoon performance on the Pavillion. Even captured some super footage of the audience singing along.

Last Night at Fondren After 5

Thanks to James and Joan for giving me a spot to play last night. It got a little cold toward the end, but all the folks that stopped by kept me warm during the three hours of playing.

Muchas Gracias James for the great photo poster. I wish you could have seen the look on the faces trying to figure out -- "is it him or is it Memorex?"

Oh Boy was I glad Roger Clapp showed up with his harmonica just as I was starting to loose feeling in my fingers.









I guess Judi did just what I told her to do in "Throw Me Down Judi." She let herself go wild with the camera. Actually, it was the bright lights ;)
